DeeJayz Workshop

Now students can build their very own mini-DJ controller. With the Jay-D coding kit, students learn how microcomputers and other electronic components are used for sound production. Learn about Digital-to-Analog conversion, how to solder, what sound waves are and how to produce them with computers, and how to code custom sound and lighting effects. The best part is that students will assemble all the components themselves. They can pre-load their own tracks and mix on the DJ console once it is built using the included micro-SD card.

Educator’s will see their student’s eyes light up while their newly built DJ console turns on for the first time. Student’s will not forget this building experience over five sessions that will allow them to delve deeper into the coding world, coming back to each session with new understandings of the science behind the technology.

5 Sessions x 80 mins
