The Soundclash Kit Workshop

Build your very own Bluetooth speaker! This hands-on experience embraces culture, teaches physics, and builds confidence all at the same time. It’s an in-depth look at the Jamaican SoundClash, which began in the 1950s and spread throughout the world. Students dive into the inner workings of speakers, enclosures, and Bluetooth technology. It allows students to customize their creations while listening to the music they love. The SoundClash workshop encourages students to explore the inner workings of speakers and offers an in-depth understanding of the science behind sound waves and how they are interpreted by the human ear. Additionally, students will gain valuable insights into the technology that drives the speakers they use in their daily lives.

Additionally, students will develop transferable skills that help them understand wiring, circuit boards, batteries, energy, and much more.
